California Bicycle Accident Attorney and Lawyer Norman Gregory Fernandez discusses the robot julesI thought I would get your attention. As you all know this is the Biker Law Blog, and I usually discuss all things motorcycle here since I am a California Biker Lawyer.

Well, many of you know I also do all types of Bicycle accident cases in the State of California as well. You did not think that Biker only meant motorcycles did you?

I ran across this wild story about a guy who invented an electric robot to pedal a bicycle instead of powering it from the sprocket like most mopeds or powered bicycles.

Take a look at the above picture. That thing on the back seat is the Robot Joules, which is the actual electric engine on the bicycle. It looks kind of crazy but that thing can pedal the bicycle to about 30 miles per hour.

Below is a link to the article in Popular Science and a video of the Robot in Action. I sure would like to ride down the street with this thing!

The inventor has the robot tuned down to a manageable 90 rotations per minute, however the robot is capable of peddling as fast as a world class bicycle rider.

This thing is awesome. I would love to take this thing on the bike path in Venice Beach. I know this thing would draw lots of attention, especially from the beautiful gals. :)

I Check out the Popular Science article below.
